Admin Provisions Key
The system administrator creates a license via the SOC Admin Panel. A cryptographically secure key (VS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) is generated and its HMAC-SHA256 salted hash is stored.
Operator Enters Key
The Android technician enters the license key into VirtualScale. The app computes a unique hardware installation ID and submits an activation request via HTTPS.
Hardware Binding
The authoritative server binds the license strictly to that installation ID. Expiration, offline grace period, and authorized feature flags are returned.
Bluetooth Emulation
VirtualScale spins up the BLE GATT peripheral and SPP RFCOMM servers, streaming authoritative weight values directly to external POS or ePoS terminals.

Client devices cannot bypass expiration dates by rewinding local Android system clocks. Every activation and validation response is measured against UTC server time.
Strict Hardware Identity Binding
Licenses are permanently tied to the device's cryptographic installation ID. Secondary activation attempts trigger immediate DEVICE_MISMATCH security alarms.
CIDR & IP Network Enforcement
